The KIA EV6 is finally on Australian roads! Starting from $67990 plus on roads with up to 528 Km range. It’s the twin brother of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, but 4K cheaper!
Firstly, yes… The dual curved double display screen comes standard with the base and so does the high range of 528 Km!
On to Charging. It’s capable of taking a 800 Volt charging system, which means the KIA EV6 Charges really fast! Using a 350kW charger, Kia claims the 77.4kWh battery can be replenished from 10-80 per cent in just 18 minutes. A more widely available rapid charger 50kW charging stations will result in a 10-80 per cent top up in an 73 minutes. Lastly a regular home-installed 7Kwh wallbox can fill up the battery from 10-100 per cent in around 11 hours. The AC onboard charger can charge at a Maximum AC rate of 10.5 Kwh.
